Martinelli needs to start

Martinelli needs to start against city for me. Presses relentlessly and was one of our only treat against them at the Emirates even Debryune said it between. Would be a huge treat on the counter with his explosive pace and directness. .                     Gabi on 🔥🔥🔥 No doubt either that he's been training endlessly in quarantine and has bulked up. Former arsenal player wanted by city and madrid

A couple of weeks ago foot mecarto published some information about ismaël bennacer and an alleged interest from man city for him. It all stemmed from pep guardiola who was personally interested in the player. Pep guardiola has spoken to ismaël the 22 year old midfielder about a possible move from Ac Milan to City. Pep guardiola called ismaël personally to explain the project to him. Man city could be preparing and offer very soon. Not only that the French website said that the spaniard  desire to manage the former arsenal midfielder went as far as going out of his way to contact him personally. But if the midfielder is to leave he want guaranteed playing time and will priotize the sporting aspect of things. Benaccer once at arsenal was brilliant from empoli in italy to ac milan and in the recently AFCON and was voted player of the tournament. This earned him move to milan but arsenal had a buy back clause for £10m and another clause that would see them earn £7m from empoli.  Arsenal d

what inspired Arsenal away kit for 20-21

While many compared the kit to a crime scene, we are able to reveal what is the (likely) inspiration of the Arsenal 20-21 away kit. Arsenal FC 20-21 Away Kit Inspired By Famous Marble Hall Of Highbury Stadium The marble hall is part of the East Stand of Highbury. The Marble Hall has a bust statue of Herbert Chapman, the manager who transformed Arsenal in the 30s into a major football club. The East Stand, containing the famous Marble Halls, is a Grade II listed building. Built in 1936 to compliment the Victorian houses in the surrounding area, it was constructed in the Art Deco style of architecture which was popular between the wars. Lacazette urges aubameyang to "sign that thing"

On Monday, reports in France claimed that Aubameyang has received an offer from Arsenal to extend his contract, which is due to expire next year. Arsenal face a key decision in the upcoming transfer window as they run the risk of losing the 30-year-old on a free next summer if he fails to agree a new deal. Barcelona and Chelsea have both been linked with a move for the striker, who has scored 61 goals in 97 appearances since joining the Gunners. But Lacazette has now led the calls for Aubameyang to commit his future to Mikel Arteta’s side. In a post from an Arsenal fan account on Instagram which referenced Aubameyang’s contract offer, the caption read:                     ‘Don’t let us down, @aubameyang97. Sign the ting.’ And Lacazette has supported the message by liking the post. Speaking in March, Arteta was adamant that he is keen to keep Aubameyang at the club. ‘For me it is very easy,’ said the Arsenal manager. ‘I want to keep him under any circumstances.’ Follow  Mackyblog  for m

The 23 year old hoogoveen born hotshot is the all time recording goal scorer with 69goals with just 88 senior appearances for her country. The striker was set for her chance to net 70 goals in April with the Netherlands having been scheduled with Kosovo and Estonia but those games where postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Miedema has scored eight goals in the orange lioness six qualifying games to date including a goal in the 2-0 win over Russia in October last year. Should the player fail to hit her 70th senior international goal in the return fixture in September she is likely to have further opportunities in October when they face kosovo and Estonia. Arsenal fans go crazy over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang contract talks

Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been offered a contract extension by Arsenal, according to a report by French publication  L'Equipe . The Gabon international, who sealed a move to the Emirates Stadium from Borussia Dortmund back in January 2018, is out-of-contract in North London at the end of the 2020/21 campaign, with speculation mounting about his future. It is no secret that the Gunners are desperate to retain Aubameyang's services, as he has proven to be their star man over the past couple of years, particularly this season, as he has notched 20 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions. But with Arsenal still some way off from competing for the Premier League title and showing no signs of gaining qualification for the Champions League anytime soon, the striker, who turns 31 later this month, could be open to a move elsewhere. Should the striker fail to put pen to paper on a new deal before he enters the final six months of his current contract he could leave

The Sevilla forward was a relative unknown outside of his own country, but Arsene Wenger had seen enough to splash the cash on the 20-year-old and bring him over to England to add further power to his strikeforce. Reyes made his Gunners debut just two days after signing, coming on as a replacement for Dennis Bergkamp midway through the second half of a 2-1 win at home to Manchester City, but it was the FA Cup tie at home to Chelsea in mid-February when he first displayed his obvious talents. With the Gunners trailing the fifth round tie courtesy of a first half strike from Adrian Mutu, Reyes struck twice early

Dennis Bergkamp pinpoints the exact moment where Arsenal started to decline under Arsene Wenger

Dennis Bergkamp has pinpointed the tactical change that resulted in  Arsenal’s  decline under Arsene Wenger. The Dutchman was part of the Gunners’ glittering period during the late 1990s and early 2000s, which saw them win three Premier League titles and become Manchester United’s main rivals during their period of dominance. During this time, Wenger set his side up in a traditional 4-4-2 formation, with Bergkamp operating as a number 10 behind Nicolas Anelka and then Thierry  The system worked to a tee, with Bergkamp forming deadly partnerships with both players, particularly Henry. But, following the ‘invincibles’ season of 2003/04, the team started to break up, and Wenger deviated from his tried and trusted system. He opted instead to operate with a lone striker, and add an extra body to his midfield – a move Bergkamp believes contributed to the Gunners’ lack of trophies following his departure in 2006. Asked by his former team-mate Martin Keown why the second half of Wenger’s tenur

Arsenal: William Saliba already two step ahead of Mavropanos

Everyone can’t wait to see what William Saliba can be at Arsenal and, on the bright side, he’s already ahead of Konstantinos Mavropanos. Arsenal ‘s defense is going to look so damn good next season it’s gonna be mental. I know I gush about it a lot, but  Mikel Arteta  has worked literal magic in turning David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi into a defense that doesn’t give up a crapton of goals per match. In fact, they give up less than a goal a game. Combined. Two of the biggest defensive “clowns” out there. United in sturdiness. Next season, we’ll be starting with fresh faces and the same defensive philosophy that Arteta has already used to rejuvenate a dead defense. Namely, William Saliba, who has joined the club from Saint-Etienne and is looking to get his footing in the starting XI. Saliba can be what Arsenal wanted Mavropanos to be Saliba isn’t the first young defender ticketed for big things, however. It was just a few years back that  Konstantinos Mavropanos  made the exact same move

Key Arsenal figure announces he is leaving the club after three years in position

Paulo Barreira was a key appointment of Darren Burgess and is leaving the club on the expiration of his contract. The 42-year-old wrote on his Twitter feed: "Thank you Arsenal for the great experience that was working at the club. "Class to say the least to describe such a club. To the medical/performance staff, coaching staff, facilites managements staff, and all the players I wish all the best." It  understands that Barreira's contract was due to expire at the end of the season and that the club's decision not to offer him an extension is unrelated to the financial difficulties Arsenal are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Barreira was one of a string of new fitness staff that joined the club following the appointment of Darren Burgess as head of high performance in the summer of 2017. The Australian proved to be a polarising figure in north London and was sacked in the days after the 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in last May's Europa League Final. Barreira had

GUNNING FOR IT Arsenal predicted line-up against Man City in first game of Premier League return with Chambers and Soares back training

MIKEL ARTETA can now start formulating his line-up for a return to Premier League football on June 17. A daunting trip to Manchester City is first up for Arsenal, who are hoping to welcome some injury absentees back into their squad. Calum Chambers is training after surgery on  knee ligament damage initially expected to keep him out until September . It remains highly unlikely that he will play much this season however, but the defender confirmed recently that his operation "went well". January loan signing Cedric Soares has joined his new teammates for the resumption of training as he pushes for a first appearance for the club. A question mark hangs over Lucas Torreira's availability also after the Uruguayan suffered an ankle injury in March. The midfielder headed back to South America during the initial phase of the coronavirus lockdown for treatment.Should he not make it back in time, Torreira's absence will likely keep Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka in the two cen
