Nunez was again named on the bench for the third successive match this season. But he has certainly given Jurgen Klopp food for thought with his performance as a second-half substitute.
The 24-year-old came on in the 77th minute and equalised just four minutes later. The turnaround was complete in the third minute of stoppage time with another expert finish as Liverpool held out for a famous win.
But Nunez has now revealed how recent conversations with his new international boss have helped. Bielsa was appointed Uruguay manager in May, 15 months after being sacked by Leeds.
Nunez says the experienced boss has given him advice on aspects of his game that need improving. He told Sport 890: "Bielsa showed me some things that seem positive to improve. I hope to meet him next week and do my best for the team."
He added: "Some things he thinks are better. Like, when the opposing team is behind, not to run in front of the second centre-back: to run behind so that he loses the mark. It was a very good chat with him. It's a new stage with the national team and I hope it goes well."
Nunez admits he has been frustrated by his lack of game time at Liverpool. However, he believes he has channelled his anger in the right way.
