Manchester United have reportedly been told to stump up £35million for the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as Tottenham want even more money for selling to a Premier League rival. Erik ten Hag is keen to bring in another defensive-minded midfielder before the transfer window closes this week.
The report points out that Tottenham's asking price to United is 'more expensive' than what teams outside of the Premier League have been quoted. Hojbjerg was removed from Tottenham's leadership group by Ange Postecoglou in a major shake-up behind the scenes this summer.
